Hello Dave & cg short cuts I am a jeweller and jewellery designer and I run my own brand. I work primarily in Rhino 8 3d software, where I design jewellery and produce renders. I can create standard jewellery renders, but I feel they are quite static and I would really like to start producing more cinematic animations. The reason I joined is because I would love to learn how to create effects where molten metal forms into jewellery. For example, molten gold like lava, spinning or flowing and then solidifying into a ring or piece of jewellery. Something that feels very cinematic and atmospheric to suit my brand aesthetic. THEILLUSTRATEDJEWELLER.COM The well known series “The Crown” has an opening sequence shows molten liquid gold pouring and forming shapes. That visual has stayed in my mind for a long time and I would love to try and create something similar for my nautical themed jewellery pieces I design. I was wondering if there are any tutorials, project files similar, or resources on the site that might point me in the right direction for this type of effect. I would really appreciate any guidance on where to start. I have just joined as a member I am currently exploring the site and watching everyone’s work, and I am honestly blown away by the level of creativity and skill here. I am really excited to get started and learn more. Thank you very much, and I look forward to learning from the community here. James The Illustrated Jeweller
